I rarely write reviews, but after repeatedly receiving such quality service for close to 7 years, I felt I had to write something about Smart Space Murphy and Wall Bed Units. 6-7 years ago I moved into a 2 bdrm apartment and I thought a Murphy Bed might be a good choice for a single man. Steve Beckman, the owner, came and measured my space and noted my ceiling was 1/4" too low to install a Bookcase/hidden Murphy Bed. But he also recognized how it would look great and meet my needs so well for my limited functional space. He went back to the office and his team milled down the unit so it fit perfectly. Over the last several years I repeatedly have guests tell me how beautiful it is and how comfortable it is to sleep on.
Steve also built a pantry closet for me in an apartment "dead space". Initially, the configuration was not quite what I expected. His crew quickly corrected it and has served me very well. Steve also built me a 2 drawer cabinet for my vintage LPs, which matched my other furniture. Lastly, this month they built 2 small bookcases for me to match the years old Murphy Bed design. They fit perfectly. I could not be more happy with their work? Yes, this team does excellent work with Murphy Beds, but they also do so much more which is both attractive and functional! I could not recommend them more highly.

I had passed by this store probably a thousand times since I have lived in Denver nearly thirty years.
I finally stopped in.
I was considering a Murphy Bed for my small apartment.
I was not impressed with the quality of their products.
I am glad to know they exist - but this is not a good product for my needs.

So many choices plus they'll cutom craft the bed you want. Prices are reasonable on what's normally a really expensive product. Not difficult to get to but there's a ton of information and plenty of models on their website.

Fantastic experience with Smart Spaces from start to finish. They worked closely with me to design a Murphy Bed wall that matched (and brightened!) the space and brought a talented, professional team to install it. They were proactive, communicative and on top of each detail. My office looks fantastic and I'm so thankful we made the investment.

This storefront was well laid out and clean. The staff were friendly and ready to answer questions. My children were enthralled with all the different beds.

If you are looking for a Murphy Bed this is the place to buy. The quality is wonderful if you're looking for real wood or to save money with a laminate they have both. At 77 years old I was concerned about being able to raise and lower it, but it is very light and easy to manipulate. I took over a grandsons bedroom for crafts and now the bed is out of the way of my projects, but if we have guest it is very easy to go back to a guest room. A big selling point for me was the fact that the bed was made here in Denver. The instalation fee was worth every penny when I watched all that was required to put it together. I know the bed is properly installed. They also custom make furniture that would match the bed if you want to furnish a whole room.

The Murphy Bed is fantastic. Looks great in our guest bedroom/office and creates a clean background when working from home. We ran into some issues during the install and their team worked with us to get everything resolved to make things better than they were when we started! Highly recommend.

Great experience. Lisa on the floor was extremely helpful finding just the right product that fit our needs. Steve (owner) was wonderful to work with and problem solve to make everything meet our needs. The delivery crews and installers are amazing. Polite, timely, respectful. They even brought a vacuum cleaner to clean the work site thoroughly. Who does that anymore? I highly recommend Smart Spaces. Darrell

I bough my murphy bed with attached desk a few years ago - then the pandemic, so I didn't use it much. I then started to use it all them time with my new job. It broke the other day and the Smartspaces guys came out and fixed it today. They did a great job and did it quickly! This space saving bed/desk is one of the best things I've ever purchased. The customer service that's come alone with it makes it even better. Thank you!!!

We are very pleased with how our new twin Murphy Beds look. We worked with Lisa at the Smart Space office and she was very helpful and patient with us as we considered a variety of options. The delivery/installation guys were terrific. While the Murphy Bed itself was not expensive, adding in the other stuff was. (Ask questions--we believe on a first visit with someone else that we were somewhat misled about pricing) We did consider getting just the Murphy Bed and adding in Ikea stuff but ultimately decided that we wanted a more cohesive look. The total depth of what we selected is about 16" which leaves a good amount of space even in a very small room. It does look great and makes our son's bedroom, now that he is away at college, a perfect office.

This is the best company Ive ever dealt with. Their showroom was magnificent. I ordered a Murphy Bed which included the mattress. I worked with Lisa, and the bed was designed exactly to my requirements and professionally installed. I experienced a small problem with the mattress. I called Smart Spaces and they were extremely responsive to my issue. Steve called me back the same day and told me he would deliver me a new mattress (It was under warranty and they stand behind it) the next morning. They arrived as scheduled, installed the new mattress. removed the original mattress. The bed looks amazing in my small studio condo and Ive never experienced such a cooperative and understanding company as Smart Spaces. Purchasing the entire bed (wood frame, hardware and mattress) together was a blessing. One company to deal. I highly recommend Smart Spaces. The product and personnel are knowledgeable and professional.
